Coconut Lagoon is a CGH Earth Group Enterprise, is located at Kumarakom, the most beautiful and exotic backwaters destination of Kerala. Accommodation
The accommodation comprises of small individual cottages known as Tharavadu, and bungalows built in traditional Kerala style. Coconut Lagoon offers three types of accommodation namely Heritage Mansions, Heritage Bungalows and Private pool villas. The Heritage Mansions have two stories, and provides magnificent views of Lake Vembanad.
There are a total of 14 Heritage Mansions, 28 Heritage Bungalows and 2 Pool Villas in Coconut Lagoon Resort. Though some of the cottages are recently built, many are well over a century old. All the cottages have well furnished bathroom with the facilities of modern toilets.
Dining and Recreation
There is a well-maintained multi-cuisine Restaurant at Coconut lagoon, which offers ethnic and international cuisine. The restaurant specializes in Kerala cuisine peculiar to the region.
Recreation: The place offers a variety of Recreational activities. The Cashew shaped swimming pool is popular among the honeymoon couples, who swim there in the early evening to the sounds of Indian classical music. Other recreations include country boat expeditions, visit to a close by bird sanctuary, 'Rice boat' cruises, fishing and swimming.
One of the main attractions at the Coconut Lagoon is its famous Ayurvedic Massage Centre. The resort offers a variety of Ayurvedic therapies under the guidance of an expert Physician, called vaidyan, who provides you details of prescriptions and treatments you require.
