Poovar Island Resort offers well-furnished cottages for your comfortable and enjoyable stay at Poovar Island. The resort offers two types of cottages. You can choose from traditionally styled land cottages and more exotic floating cottages. The recently lunched Deluxe Floating Villas offer world-class amenities to tourists.
There are about 12 floating cottages and 50 land cottages, all of them well equipped with modern amenities. The centrally air-conditioned rooms are fitted with dial telephones, television with cable connectivity, mini bar and attached bath with hot and cold showers and modern toilets. The balconies of these cottages provide you a breathtaking view of backwaters and sea. Besides, there is also a conference hall capable of accommodating 10-80 people.
Dining and Recreation
The multi-cuisine restaurant at the resort offers a choice of western, Asian and Indian cuisine to its guests. The Fish Market, a specially designed sea-food floating restaurant serves a wide variety of sea-food specialties.
The recreations here include a variety of leisure activities. You can enjoy swimming in cool waters of 400 sq ft swimming pool or just laze on the private deck for sunbathing. If you are a sport lover, you can enjoy beach volleyball and many water sports. The facilities for boat cruising are also available at the resort.
